Malcolm and Jenny Milne purchased Pilmuir in spring 2007, with the primary aim of having a home away from home that has a mountain view. Mountains and the outdoors are a huge part of their lives and Pilmuir has fufilled that dream. After 6months of rennovation and changes to the layout, Malcolm and Jenny moved in. Pilmuir is rented out to cover costs and to allow the now Milne family, to enjoy time together whilst also working in the local area. Thus it is not a full time holiday let and very much their home so you will find the cottage cosy and welcoming.

The paddock out the back is home to their horses and shetland ponies when the family stay, whilst the trees and nearly 1acre garden will be ideal for baby Lachlan when he's older.
